class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics from an ABET accredited university, or equivalent.<br \/>\nAt least 8 years of direct experience in the development and analysis of optical components and systems.<br \/>\nExperience in developing, operating, and testing directed energy systems or similar systems is required.<br \/>\nDemonstrated experience working with multifunctional teams in system implementation, from requirements definition to design to implementation, is required.<br \/>\nAt the same time, you need to ensure that the project schedule and budget are adhered to.<br \/>\nExperience in creating, modifying, and using test plans during the development, qualification, and approval stages of optical systems is required.<br \/>\nMust live in the North Alabama area or be willing to relocate to the North Alabama Huntsville area.<\/p>\n<h2><span profilers, spectrometers, etc.<br \/>\nExperience with optical component and system design Experience with Zemax, Code V, etc.<br \/>\nExperience with Matlab or Python Experience with 3D CAD
